FOG. Perfume - Travel Size

FOG by The Drift Collective FOG was built to layer. Alone it's intimate and understated, the kind of scent people lean into when they're near you. Underneath something else it acts as an anchor, softening whatever you put over it and making the whole thing smell more like “your aura” than perfume. 50 mL perfume. Fine mist spray. Smelling Notes: Sea spray, beach rose, white florals, clean musk, ozonic accord, driftwood Ingredients: alcohol (SDA 40B), fragrance, water, hydroxy citronellal, BHT, isoeugenol, alpha-isomethyl ionone, benzyl benzoate. Phthalate free, cruelty free & vegan. Two of the key materials in FOG have a story worth telling. The ambroxan, a warm, woody-amber note with a faintly salty coastal edge, is produced through sugarcane fermentation, making it naturally derived and biodegradable. The ambrettolide, one of the musks at the core of the fragrance, is made through a similar fermentation process rather than the conventional route, which relies on lac beetles and an unpredictable supply chain. The same molecule occurs naturally in ambrette seed oil, but the seeds are harvested by hand, yield almost no oil, and barely enough exists to matter at scale. The biotech version is the responsible choice. These are two ingredients among many. Not everything in a fragrance formula can be produced this way, and we won't pretend otherwise. But where better options exist, we use them...we believe these fermented products are the sustainable future of perfumery!
